[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Indeed, your companion here is a protector and a perisher. The last thing that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrusted to us was that he said, 'Whoever preserves something from me, let him convey it. And whoever intentionally lies about me, let him prepare his place in the Hellfire.'"

الطبراني:١٦٧٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْغَافِقِيِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْ غَافِقٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْغَافِقِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ هَذَا لَحَافِظٌ وَهَالِكٌ إِنَّ آخِرَ مَا عَهَدَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ قَالَ «مَنْ حَفِظَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا فَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهِ وَمَنْ كَذِبَ عَلِيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

[AI] Abu Musa said, "This companion of yours is surely accurate, or else doomed. The last thing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrusted to us was that he said: "Hold fast to the Book of Allah. You will return to a people who love speaking about me, so whoever attributes to me what I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire. And whoever preserves something from me, let him narrate it.""

أحمد:١٨٩٤٦ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: وَكَتَبَ بِهِ إِلَيَّ قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى الْغَافِقِيَّ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَادِيثَ

فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى: إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ هَذَا لَحَافِظٌ أَوْ هَالِكٌ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَنْ قَالَ: «عَلَيْكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ، وَسَتَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ يُحِبُّونَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي، فَمَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْحِفْظَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا فَلْيُحَدِّثْهُ».
