[Machine] Malik, indeed your companion is heedless and destined for destruction. For indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a covenant with us during the Farewell Pilgrimage, he said: "Upon you is the Quran, for indeed you will return to people who will desire to have discussions about me. So whoever understands something from it, then let him speak about it, and whoever fabricates upon me, then let him occupy his place in Hellfire." "I do not know which of them said it."  

مَالِكٌ إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ هَذَا غَافِلٌ وَهَالِكٌ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَهَدَ إِلَيْنَا فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ فَإِنَّكُمْ سَتَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ يَشْتَهُونَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي فَمَنْ عَقَلَ شَيْئًا فَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهِ وَمَنِ افْتَرَى عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدًا أَوْ شَيْئًا مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ» «لَا أَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا قَالَ»  

"عَلَيكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ، وسَتَرجِعُونَ إِلَى قَومٍ يُحبُّون الْحَدِيث عَنِّي، وَمَنْ قَال عَلَيَّ مَا لم أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبوَّأَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَنْ حَفِظَ شيئًا فَلْيُحدِّثْ بِهِ".
