The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A single rider is a devil, and a pair of riders are a pair of devils, but three are a company of riders.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ وَالثَّلاَثَةُ رَكْبٌ
From his father, from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The (lone) rider is a Shaitan, and two raiders are two Shaitan. Three is a travelling party.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ وَالثَّلاَثَةُ رَكْبٌ
Malik related to me from Abd ar-Rahman ibn Harmala from Amr ibn Shuayb from his father from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One rider is a shaytan. Two riders are two shaytans, and three are a riding-party."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ وَالثَّلاَثَةُ رَكْبٌ
From his father, from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The (lone) rider is a Shaitan, and two raiders are two Shaitan. Three is a travelling party. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1674)
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ وَالثَّلَاثَةُ رَكْبٌ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A single rider is a devil, and a pair of riders are a pair of devils, but three are a company of riders. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2607)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ وَالثَّلَاثَةُ رَكْبٌ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who have you accompanied?" He replied, "I have not accompanied anyone." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "The person traveling alone is accompanied by a devil, and the two people traveling together are accompanied by two devils, while the three people traveling together are a group."
لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَحِبْتَ؟» فَقَالَ مَا صَحِبْتُ أَحَدًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ وَالثَّلَاثَةُ رَكْبٌ»

"الْوَاحِدُ شَيطَانٌ، وَالإِثْنَان شَيطَانَان، وَالثَّلاثَةُ رَكْبٌ".
