quran:15:77 –

Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.

There is indeed a sign, a lesson, in that for believers.

القرآن:١٥:٧٧ –

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

{إن في ذلك لآية} لعبرة {للمؤمنين}.

quran:79:26 –

Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear ˹Allah˺.

Assuredly in that, which is mentioned, there is a moral for him who fears, God, exalted be He.

القرآن:٧٩:٢٦ –

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشَىٰ

{إن في ذلك} المذكور {لعبرة لمن يخشى} الله تعالى.

quran:15:75 –

Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.

Indeed in that, which is mentioned, there are signs, indications of God’s Oneness, for those who take note, ˹those who˺ observe and take heed.

القرآن:١٥:٧٥ –

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ

{إن في ذلك} المذكور {لآيات} دلالات على وحدانية الله {للمتوسمين} للناظرين المعتبرين.

quran:26:8 –

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

Surely in that there is a sign, an indication of the perfection of His power, exalted be He; but most of them, in God’s knowledge, are not believers (kāna here according to Sībawayhi is extra).

القرآن:٢٦:٨ –

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

{إن في ذلك لآية} دلالة على كمال قدرته تعالى {وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين} في علم الله، وكان قال سيبويه: زائدة.

quran:29:44 –

Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth. Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.

God created the heavens and the earth with truth, that is, rightly. Surely in that there is a sign, indicating His power, exalted be He, for believers — they are specifically mentioned because they are the ones to benefit thereby in their faith, in contrast to disbelievers.

القرآن:٢٩:٤٤ –

خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

{خلقَ الله السماوات والأرض بالحق} أي محقا {إن في ذلك لآيةً} دالة على قدرته تعالى {للمؤمنين} خصّوا بالذكر لأنهم المنتفعون بها في الإيمان بخلاف الكافرين.

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

Surely in that there is a sign; but most of them are not believers.

quran:23:30 –

Indeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing ˹Our servants˺.

Surely in that, mentioned matter of Noah, the ship and the destruction of the disbelievers, there are signs, indicators of God’s power, exalted be He, and indeed (wa-in, in has been softened in place of the hardened form, its subject being the pronoun of the matter) We were putting to the test, ˹indeed We were˺ trying the people of Noah by sending him ˹as God’s messenger˺ to them and ˹by˺ his admonitions ˹to them˺.

القرآن:٢٣:٣٠ –

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ وَإِنْ كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِينَ

{إن في ذلك} المذكور من أمر نوح والسفينة وإهلاك الكفار {لآيات} دلالات على قدرة الله تعالى {وإن} مخففة من الثقيلة واسمها ضمير الشأن {كنا لمبتلين} قوم نوح بإرساله إليهم ووعظه.

quran:26:67 –

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

Surely in that, drowning of Pharaoh and his folk, there is a sign, a lesson for those ˹generations˺ who would come after them; but most of them are not believers, in God. The only ones to believe were Āsiya — Pharaoh’s wife — Hizqīl, the believing man of Pharaoh’s family, and Maryam daughter of Nāmūsī, she who pointed out the bone remains of ˹the prophet˺ Joseph, peace be upon him.

القرآن:٢٦:٦٧ –

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

{إن في ذلك} إغراق فرعون وقومه {لآيةٌ} عبرة لمن بعدهم {وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين} بالله لم يؤمن منهم غير آسية امرأة فرعون وحزقيل مؤمن آل فرعون ومريم بنت ناموصى التي دلت على عظام يوسف عليه السلام.

quran:26:103 –

Surely in that, which is mentioned of the tale of Abraham and his people, there is a sign; but most of them are not believers.
