Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying and he was carrying Umama the daughters of Zainab, the daughter of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and she was the daughter of 'As bin Rabiʿa bin ʿAbd Shams. When he prostrated, he put her down and when he stood, he carried her (on his neck).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهْوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلأَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ شَمْسٍ فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying the prayer while he was carrying Umama, daughter of Zainab, daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. and Abu'l-'As b. al-Rabi'. When he stood up, he took her up and when he prostrated he put her down, Yahya said: Malik replied in the affirmative.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلأَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ فَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا وَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا قَالَ يَحْيَى قَالَ مَالِكٌ نَعَمْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was leading the people in prayer with Umamah daughter of Zainab daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (in his lap). When he prostrated, he put her down and when he got up(after prostration) he lifted her up.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was leading the people in prayer with Umamah daughter of Zainab daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (in his lap). When he prostrated, he put her down and when he got up(after prostration) he lifted her up. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 917)

«حَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا»

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was praying carrying Ummamah bint Abi Al-As or Ummaymah bint Zainab, who was the daughter of Zainab. He carries her when he stands and puts her down when he bows until he finishes.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي يَحْمِلُ أُمَامَةَ أَوْ أُمَيْمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ زَيْنَبَ يَحْمِلُهَا إِذَاقَامَ وَيَضَعُهَا إِذَا رَكَعَ حَتَّى فَرَغَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَسَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ carrying the daughter of Zainab, called Abdur Razzaq, on his shoulder. When he went into the bowing position and prostrated, he put her down, and when he stood up, he carried her again.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ ابْنَةَ زَيْنَبَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَسَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا

Yahya related to me from Malik from Amir ibn Abdullah ibn az- Zubayr from Amr ibn Sulaym az-Zuraqi from Abu Qutada al-Ansari that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray carrying Umama, who was the daughter of his daughter Zaynab by Abu'l As ibn Rabia ibn Abd Shams. When he prostrated, he put her down, and when he got up he carried her.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلأَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ شَمْسٍ فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray with Umamah bint Abi Al-As on his shoulder, and when he went into prostration, he would place her down, and when he stood up, he would carry her again."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَأُمَامَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray while carrying Umama, the daughter of Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , the daughter of Abu Al-As, the son of Ar-Rabi'. When he would bow, he would put her down, and when he would stand, he would carry her until he finished his prayer."

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتِ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِنْتِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا حَتَّى فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray carrying Umamah. When he prostrated he put her down and when he stood up he picked her up again. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1204)
