It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wore a silver ring with an Ethiopian gemstone, and he used to ear the stone in towards his palm.  

ابن ماجة:٣٦٤٦حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الأَيْلِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَبِسَ خَاتَمَ فِضَّةٍ فِيهِ فَصٌّ حَبَشِيٌّ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ فِي بَطْنِ كَفِّهِ

Anas b. Malik reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ wore a silver ring on his right hand which had an Abyssinian stone in it, and he kept its stone towards the palm.

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ كَانَ لَهُ خَاتَمَانِ لَا خَاتَمٌ وَاحِدٌ
