It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ used to wear (his ring) with the stone nearest his palm.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّ خَاتَمِهِ مِمَّا يَلِي كَفَّهُ
