BAYHAQI 19396:
from Muḥammad b. Ṣafwān —
[Machine] It passed by the Prophet ﷺ with two rabbits, so he hung them up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I hunted these two rabbits but I did not find a knife to slaughter them with, so I slaughtered them with a piece of wood. Can I eat them?" He said, "Eat." This narration was reported by Al-Bukhari, according to Al-Sha'bi from Jabir bin Abdullah, and the narration of Ibn Safwan is the most authentic according to Al-Bukhari.
