"I caught two rabbits but I could not find anything with which to slaughter then, so I slaughtered them with a sharp-edged stone. I asked the Prophet about that and he commanded me to eat them" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4313)
أَصَبْتُ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَا أُذَكِّيهُمَا بِهِ فَذَكَّيْتُهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَسَأَلْتُ وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ «فَأَمَرَنِي بِأَكْلِهِمَا»
I hunted two hares and slaughtered them with a flint. I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about them. He permitted me to eat them.
اصَّدْتُ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَذَبَحْتُهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْهُمَا فَأَمَرَنِي بِأَكْلِهِمَا
"I caught two rabbits but I could not find anything with which to slaughter then, so I slaughtered them with a sharp-edged stone. I asked the Prophet about that and he commanded me to eat them"

he caught two rabbits and he could not find a knife with which to slaughter then, so he slaughtered them with Marwah. Then he came to the Prophet and said: "O Mesenger of Allah! I caught two rabbits but I could not find a knife with which to slaughter them, so I slaughtered them with Marwah;l can I eat them?" He said: "Eat (them)."
أَنَّهُ أَصَابَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ وَلَمْ يَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِهِ فَذَكَّاهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي اصْطَدْتُ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً أُذَكِّيهِمَا بِهِ فَذَكَّيْتُهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ أَفَآكُلُ قَالَ كُلْ
“I slaughtered two rabbits with a sharp-edges stone and brought them to the Prophet ﷺ, and he told me to eat them.”
ذَبَحْتُ أَرْنَبَيْنِ بِمَرْوَةٍ فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِمَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَنِي بِأَكْلِهِمَا
“O Messenger of Allah, I caught these two rabbits but I cannot find any iron* with which to slaughter them with Marwah** and eat them?” He said: “Eat.”
أَنَّهُ مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِأَرْنَبَيْنِ مُعَلِّقَهُمَا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَصَبْتُ هَذَيْنِ الأَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً أُذَكِّيهِمَا بِهَا فَذَكَّيْتُهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ أَفَآكُلُ قَالَ كُلْ

[AI] "He hunted two rabbits but did not find a knife to slaughter them with. So, he slaughtered them with a stick. Then, he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who instructed him to eat them."
أَنَّهُ صَادَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِهَا فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهِمَا

[AI] "He caught two rabbits and slaughtered them by cutting their throats with a knife. Then, he asked the Prophet ﷺ , who instructed him to eat them."
«أَنَّهُ صَادَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهِمَا»
[AI] He brought two rabbits to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he hung them in his hand. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I came with sheep but I found these two rabbits and I did not find a knife to slaughter them with, so I slaughtered them with a branch. Can I eat them?" He said, "Yes."
أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِأَرْنَبَيْنِ فَعَلَّقَهُمَا فِي يَدِهِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَتَيْتُ غَنَمًا لِي فَوَجَدْتُ هَاتَيْنِ الْأَرْنَبَيْنِ وَلَمْ أَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً أُذَكِّيهِمَا بِهَا فَذَكَّيْتُهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ أَفَآكُلُهُمَا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»
[AI] "He caught two rabbits and slaughtered them with a knife. Then he asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who instructed him to eat them."

أَنَّهُ صَادَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً يُذَكِّيهِمَا بِهَا فَذَكَّاهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهِمَا
[AI] It passed by the Prophet ﷺ with two rabbits, so he hung them up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I hunted these two rabbits but I did not find a knife to slaughter them with, so I slaughtered them with a piece of wood. Can I eat them?" He said, "Eat." This narration was reported by Al-Bukhari, according to Al-Sha'bi from Jabir bin Abdullah, and the narration of Ibn Safwan is the most authentic according to Al-Bukhari.
