ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا قَالَ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ عِنْدَ خِطْبَتِهِمَا إِلَيْهِ ابْنَتَهُ فَاطِمَةَ عِنْدَ إِعْرَاضِهِ عَنْهُمَا فِيهِ

ibnhibban:6948 – Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Abū ʿAwn Binasā > Abū ʿAmmār al-Ḥusayn b. Ḥurayth > al-Faḍl b. Mūsá > al-Ḥusayn b. Wāqid > Ibn Buraydah from his father > Khaṭab Abū Bakr And ʿUmar Fāṭimah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, she is young." So Ali proposed to her and married her to him.  

ابن حبّان:٦٩٤٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ بِنَسَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ خَطَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَاطِمَةَ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهَا صَغِيرَةٌ» فَخَطَبَهَا عَلِيٌّ فَزَوَّجَهَا مِنْهُ

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father said: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, proposed marriage to Fatimah but the Messenger of Allah said: 'She is young.' Then 'Ali proposed marriage to her and he married her to him."

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
