ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ

ibnhibban:6374 – ʿUmar b. Muḥammad al-Hamdānī > Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlá al-Ṣanʿānī > Muʿtamir b. Sulaymān > Ḥumayd > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and he ordered for him to be given a sheep between two mountains. He returned to his people and said, 'Embrace Islam, for indeed Muhammad ﷺ gives to a man without fearing poverty.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦٣٧٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدًا قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِشَاءٍ بَيْنَ جَبَلَيْنِ فَرَجَعَ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ «أَسْلِمُوا فَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ يُعْطِي عَطَاءَ رَجُلٍ لَا يَخْشَى الْفَاقَةَ»

It never happened that Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked anything for the sake of Islam and he did not give that. There came to him a person and he gave him a large flock (of sheep and goats) and he went back to his people and said: My people, embrace Islam, for Muhammad gives so much charity as if he has no fear of want.  

مسلم:٢٣١٢a – وَحَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ التَّيْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

مَا سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ شَيْئًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ قَالَ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَأَعْطَاهُ غَنَمًا بَيْنَ جَبَلَيْنِ فَرَجَعَ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَسْلِمُوا فَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا يُعْطِي عَطَاءً لاَ يَخْشَى الْفَاقَةَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was not asked for anything regarding Islam except that he granted it. A man came and asked him, so he commanded for him a large amount of wealth between two mountains from the wealth of charity. The man then returned to his people and said, "O people, embrace Islam, for Muhammad gives generously without fear of poverty."  

أحمد:١٢٠٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ يُسْأَلُ شَيْئًا عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ قَالَ فَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَسَأَلَهُ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِشَاءٍ كَثِيرٍ بَيْنَ جَبَلَيْنِ مِنْ شَاءِ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ فَرَجَعَ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَسْلِمُوا فَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا يُعْطِي عَطَاءً مَا يَخْشَى الْفَاقَةَ
