ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا رَكِبَ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا فِي ذَوِي الْأَسْنَانِ مِنْ كَثْرَةِ الْحِرْصِ عَلَى هَذِهِ الْفَانِيَةِ الزَّائِلَةِ

ibnhibban:3230 – Abū Yaʿlá > al-Ḥasan b. ʿArafah > Ibn Idrīs > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "The heart of a grown man is divided between the love of two things: the love of life and the love of wealth." Ibn 'Arafa said, "And I am one of them."  

ابن حبّان:٣٢٣٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «قَلْبُ الْكَبِيرِ شَابَ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ عَلَى حُبِّ الْحَيَاةِ وَحُبِّ الْمَالِ» قَالَ ابْنُ عَرَفَةَ وَأَنَا وَاحِدٌ مِنْهُمْ
