Anas reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “Keep to travelling by night, for the earth is traversed (more easily) by night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2571)  

الحاكم:١٦٣٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا رُوَيْمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ الْعَابِدُ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِالدُّلْجَةِ فَإِنَّ الْأَرْضَ تُطْوَى بِاللَّيْلِ لِلْمُسَافِرِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
