Do not give up prayer at night, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not leave it. Whenever he fell ill or lethargic, he would offer it sitting. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1307)   

الحاكم:١١٥٨حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ خُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي قَيْسٍ يَقُولُ قَالَتْ

لِي عَائِشَةُ لَا تَدَعْ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ «فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ لَا يَذَرُهُ وَكَانَ إِذَا مَرِضَ أَوْ كَسِلَ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا»
