God tests those for whom He wills goodness
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If Allah wants to do good to somebody, He afflicts him with trials."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ۔»

Yahya related to me from Malik that Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Sasaca said that he heard Abu'l-Hubab Said ibn Yasar say that he had heard Abu Hurayra say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Allah afflicts the one for whom He desires good.'"
يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If Allah wants to do good for somebody, he makes him comprehend the Religion (i.e. Islam), and Allah is the Giver and I am Al-Qasim (i.e. the distributor), and this (Muslim) nation will remain victorious over their opponents, till Allah's Order comes and they will still be victorious." أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ يُرِدِ اللهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّينِ
