The Prophet’s agreement over Khaybar and his wives’ shares
That the Prophet ﷺ contracted over Khaybar for half of whatever came out of it of fruit or crops. He would give his wives one hundred wasqs: eighty wasqs of dates and twenty wasqs of barley. Then Umar divided Khaybar, and he gave the wives of the Prophet ﷺ the choice between having an allotment assigned to them from the water and land, or having their previous share continued for them. Some of them chose the land, and some of them chose the wasqs; Aishah chose the land.
