Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No Muslim who has had three of his children die young will enter the Fire, except to expiate an unfulfilled oath."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَمُوتُ لأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "No Muslim whose three children died will go to the Fire except for Allah's oath (i.e. everyone has to pass over the bridge above the lake of fire)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَمُوتُ لِمُسْلِمٍ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَيَلِجَ النَّارَ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ {وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلاَّ وَارِدُهَا}

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any Muslim who has lost three of his children will not be touched by the Fire except that which will render Allah's oath fulfilled."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَمُوتُ لأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ تَمَسُّهُ النَّارُ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

Anyone amongst the Muslims, three of whose children die, and he resigns himself calmly to the will of God, Fire will not touch him but for the fulfilment of the oath.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَمُوتُ لأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

"No Muslim, three of whose children die, will be touched by the Fire, except in fulfillment of the (Divine) oath."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَمُوتُ لأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

“No man who loses three of his children will ever enter the Fire, except in fulfillment of the oath (of Allah).”* (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1603)

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَا يَمُوتُ لِمُسْلِمٍ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَيَلِجَ النَّارَ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever dies while he has three children who have not reached the age of puberty, the Fire will not touch him except for the sake of fulfilling an oath."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ مَاتَ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ لَمْ تَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ يَعْنِي الْوُرُودَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ فَتَمَسُّهُ النَّارُ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever offers three of his own backbone pieces will not enter Hell except in the form of a burning coal."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَدَّمَ ثَلَاثَةً مِنْ صُلْبِهِ لَمْ يَدْخُلِ النَّارَ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al- Musayyab from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No muslim who has three children die will be touched by the Fire except to fulfil Allah's oath."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَمُوتُ لأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلاَّ تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَمُوتُ لِأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ»

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يقول في الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إلاَّ السام وهذا الحديث رواه ابن عُيَينة عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن أَبِي سَلَمَة عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة

عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة سمعا أبا هُرَيرة يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يقول لا تنتبذوا في الدباء والمقير أو قال النقير وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ زمعة

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَال لاَ تقولوا الكرم فإن الكرم قلب المؤمن وهذا الحديث رواه ابن عُيَينة عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أبي هُرَيرة

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال من مات له ثلاثة لم يدخل النار أو قال لم تمسه النار إلاَّ تحلة القسم وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة إلاَّ عُمَر بن قيس وقد تقدم ذكرنا له ورواه مالك وَابن عُيَينة وغيرهما عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أبي هُرَيرة

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال الولد للفراش وللعاهر الحجر وهذا الحديث قد رواه مَعْمَر عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ فَإِنَّ فِيهَا شِفَاءٌ من كل داء إلاَّ الموت وهذا الحديث رواه ابن عُيَينة عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن أَبِي سَلَمَة عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, that he said: "In this black seed there is a cure for every disease except sam." It was said, "What is sam?" He said, "Death." And this hadith was narrated by Ibn Abi Hafsah and Yunus from al-Zuhri from Said, and Ibn Uyaynah narrated it from al-Zuhri from Abu Salamah from Abu Hurayrah.

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ؛ أَنَّه قال في هذه الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إلاَّ السام قيل وما السام؟ قال الموت وهذا الحديث رواه ابن أبي حفصة ويونس عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد ورواه ابن عُيَينة عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن أَبِي سَلَمَة عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال إن في الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إلاَّ السام هذا الحديث قد رُوِيَ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أبي هُرَيرة وَقال ابن عُيَينة عَن أبي سلمة

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَال لاَ تقولوا خيبة الدهر فإن الله هو الدهر وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Any Muslim who has lost three of his children will not be touched by the Fire except that which will render Allah's oath fulfilled." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6656)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَمُوتُ لِأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةِ الْقَسَمِ»

“No man who loses three of his children will ever enter the Fire, except in fulfillment of the oath (of Allah).”* (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1603)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا أَحَدٌ يَمُوتُ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَيَلِجُ النَّارَ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ»

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "No Muslim person will have three children who die, without the fire touching them, except for the necklace of determination."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَمُوتُ لِأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib to spend a few nights in Makkah for the sake of his watering station. Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us that Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, that Ahmad ibn Sahl narrated to us, that Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, that Isa ibn Yunus mentioned it.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِلْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أنبأ عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] "He used to say, 'If I saw a wolf roaming in the city, it would not frighten me.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'It is not permissible to harm any living creature between its two eyes.'"

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ لَوْ رَأَيْتُ الظِّبَاءَ تَرْتَعُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ مَا ذَعَرْتُهَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا حَرَامٌ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "No one from among the Muslims will have three children who die before reaching the age of puberty, except that they will be a means of protection for them from the Hellfire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَمُوتُ لِأَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةُ الْقَسَمِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No one will die with three children without them being a shield for him from the Fire, except by the oath of an aquital."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَمُوتُ لِأَحَدٍ ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلَّا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ

[AI] About a slave who had no money except for himself, so the prophet ﷺ was informed about this and he said, "Who will buy him?" Nuyam ibn Abdullah bought him for 800 dirhams and paid it to him. I heard Jabir saying that a Coptic slave died in the first year with the last words "Lafthu 'Arin" (meaning unclear). Abu Amr Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Adib informed us, Abu Bakr al-Isma'ili informed me, Abu Ya'la informed me, and Abu ar-Rabi' al-Zahrani informed me, Hammad ibn Zaid mentioned it with its chain of narration except that he said, "He freed a slave from him from Dubur."

عَنْ دُبُرٍ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي ؟ فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بِثَمَانِمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهِ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ عَبْدًا قِبْطِيًّا مَاتَ عَامَ الْأَوَّلِ لَفْظُ عَارِمٍ 21532 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو يَعْلَى ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ

"مَنْ مَاتَ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ لَمْ تَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ إِلا تَحِلَّةَ الْقَسَمِ".

"لَا يَمُوتُ لِمُسْلِمٍ ثَلاثَةٌ مِنَ الوَلَدِ فَيَلجَ النَّارَ إِلا تَحِلَّةَ القَسَم".
