اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مِنَ الصَّلاةِ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهُم أَبَوْا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهَا إلاَّ أَنْ يَشْتَرِطُوا الْوَلاءَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الْوَلاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ
When Aisha intended to buy Barira, she said to the Prophet, "Barira's masters stipulated that they will have the Wala." The Prophet ﷺ said (to Aisha), "Buy her, as the Wala is for the one who manumits."
لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنَّهُمْ يَشْتَرِطُونَ الْوَلاَءَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اشْتَرِيهَا فَإِنَّمَا الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ
[Machine] Aisha negotiated with Birra and when the Prophet ﷺ went out for prayer and returned, she said, "They refused to sell me unless they impose a condition of loyalty." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Loyalty is only for the emancipated slaves."
أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ سَاوَمَتْ بِبَرِيرَةَ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ قَالَتْ إِنَّهُمْ أَبَوْا أَنْ يَبِيعُونِي إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطُوا الْوَلَاءَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّمَا الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ
[Machine] Aisha sold Bureira, then the Prophet ﷺ returned from prayer and she said, "They should not sell her unless they stipulate freedom." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Freedom is for the one who sets free."
