[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing on his ride in Mina, and a man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to think that shaving the head should be done before slaughtering the animal, so I shaved before slaughtering." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Slaughter, and there is no harm." Then another man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to think that the animal should be slaughtered before stoning, so I slaughtered before stoning." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Stone, and there is no harm." He said, "Whenever someone asked the Prophet ﷺ about something he had already done (in a particular order), he would say, 'Do it, and there is no harm.'"

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing on his mount in Mina. Then, a man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to think that shaving the head (halq) should be done before slaughtering the animal (dhabh). So, I shaved my head before slaughtering it." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Slaughter it and there is no harm." Then, another man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to think that the slaughter (dhabh) should be done before the stoning of the pillars (ramy). So, I slaughtered before stoning." He ﷺ said, "Stone and there is no harm." `Abd ar-Razzaq said, "Whenever a man asked about something he did before something else, the Prophet ﷺ would say, 'Do it and there is no harm.'" Then, another man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to think that shaving the head (halq) should be done before the stoning of the pillars (ramy). So, I shaved before stoning." He ﷺ said, "Stone and there is no harm."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from clsa ibn Talha that Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped for the people at Mina, and they questioned him and a man came and said to him, 'Messenger of Allah, I was unclear about what to do and I shaved before sacrificing,' and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Sacrifice, and don't worry.' Then another came to him and said 'Messenger of Allah, I was unclear about what to do and I sacrificed before throwing the stones.' He advised, 'Throw, and don't worry.' " Amr continued, saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was not asked about anything done before or after without his saying, "Do it, and don't worry."

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing on his camel in Mina. A man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to think that shaving the head before sacrificing is better, so I shaved before sacrificing." He replied, "Sacrifice and there is no harm." Then another man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to think that sacrificing should be done before stoning the pillars, so I sacrificed before stoning." He replied, "Stone and there is no harm." Whenever someone asked him about doing something before something else, he would say, "Do it and there is no harm."

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , riding his she-camel when a man approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I thought that shaving the head (halq) comes before the throwing of the pebbles (ramy), so I shaved my head before I threw the pebbles." The Prophet said, "Go ahead and throw, there is no harm." Then another man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I thought that shaving the head (halq) comes before the slaughtering (nahr), so I shaved my head before I slaughtered the animal." The Prophet said, "Go ahead and slaughter, there is no harm." He was not asked about anything that someone had done before or after, except that he said, "Do it and there is no harm." And such was his response to all inquiries.
