[Machine] About his prayer, in which he prayed a little rather than a lot, then he performed two units of prayer, then he walked just to the left of that, then he performed four units of prayer. I said to him, "How often do you see him do that?" He said repeatedly, "When he finishes, he comes to perform the Tawaf."  

البيهقي:٥٩٤٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أنبأ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُصَلِّي الْجُمُعَةَ فَيَتَنَحَّى

عَنْ مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ قَلِيلًا غَيْرَ كَثِيرٍ ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَمْشِي أَيْسَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ كَمْ رَأَيْتَهُ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ مِرَارًا فَإِذَا فَرَغَ جَاءَ إِلَى الطَّوَافِ

Ibn Jurayj said: Ata' told me that he saw Ibn Umar pray after the Friday prayer. He moved a little from the place where he offered the Friday prayer. Then he would pray two rak'ahs. He then walked far away from that place and would offer four rak'ahs. I asked Ata': How many times did you see Ibn Umar do that? He replied: Many times. AbuDawud said: This has been narrated by AbdulMalik ibn AbuSulayman, but did not narrate it completely.
