She reported: I said Messenger of Allah, our road to the mosque has an unpleasant stench; what should we do when it is raining? He asked: Is there not a cleaner part after the filthy part of the road? She replied: Why not (there is one)! He said: It makes up for the other. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 384)

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الْمَسْجِدِ طَرِيقًا مُنْتِنَةً فَكَيْفَ نَفْعَلُ إِذَا مُطِرْنَا؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَيْسَ بَعْدَهَا طَرِيقٌ هِيَ أَطْيَبُ مِنْهَا؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى فَقَالَ هَذِهِ بِهَذِهِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي خَلِيفَةَ
