Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intention and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Apostle, then his emigration was for Allah and His Apostle. And whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّةِ وَلِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ لِدُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, 'O people! The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. The Prophet ﷺ said, "The (reward of) deeds depend on intentions, and every person will get the reward according to what he intends. So, whoever migrated for Allah and His Apostle, then his migration will be for Allah and His Apostle, and whoever migrated for worldly benefits or for marrying a woman, then his migration will be for what he migrated for." عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّةِ وَلاِمْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ لِدُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The reward of deeds depends on the intentions, so whoever emigrated for the worldly benefits or to marry a woman, his emigration was for that for which he emigrated, but whoever emigrated for the Sake of Allah and His Apostle, his emigration is for Allah and His Apostle."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّةِ فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ﷺ

I heard ˹ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb ؓ˺ on the minbar (pulpit) and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Deeds are ˹judged based˺ upon ˹their˺ intentions, and every person ˹is granted the due˺ for what they intended. So whoever had emigrated for ˹the sake of˺ worldly benefits or for ˹the sake of˺ marrying a woman, then the ˹due˺ of his emigration ˹is earned for˺ or what he emigrated for."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوْ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ يَنْكِحُهَا، فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ».

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Deeds are ˹judged based˺ upon ˹their˺ intention, and a person ˹is granted the due for˺ what he intended. So whoever had emigrated for ˹the sake of˺ of Allah and His Messenger then the ˹due˺ for his emigration ˹is earned for the sake˺ of Allah and His Messenger. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Deeds are ˹judged based˺ by ˹their˺ intention, and a person ˹is granted the due˺ for what they intended. "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Actions are only done with intentions, and every man shall have what he intended. Thus he whose emigration was for Allah and His Messenger, his emigration was for Allah and His Messenger, and he whose emigration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his emigration was for that which he intended."

‘Umar bin Al Khattab reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “Actions are to be judged only by intentions and a man will have only what he intended. When one’s emigration is to Allaah and His Apostle, his emigration is to Allaah and His Apostle but his emigration is to a worldly end at which he aims or to a woman whom he marries , his emigration is to that for which he emigrated.

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Deeds are but with intentions, and for the man is only what he intended. So one whose emigration was to Allah and His Messenger, then his emigration was to Allah and His Messenger. And one whose emigration was to the world, to attain some of it, or woman, to marry her, then his emigration was to what he emigrated.

[Machine] He ﷺ said: "Verily, actions are judged by intentions."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The (reward of) deeds, depend upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Action is but by intention and each person will have but that which he intended. So whoever migrated for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, then his migration was for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, whoever migrated for some worldly purpose or for the sake of a woman whom he could marry, his migration was for the purpose for which he migrated.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 300)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِامْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ʿDeeds are but by intentions and each man will have but that which he intended. If a man's migration was for the sake of Allah, then his migration was for that for which he migrated, but if his migration was to achieve some worldly aim or to take some woman in marriage, his migration was for that for which he migrated.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 168)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّةِ وَإِنَّمَا لِامْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ وَإِلَى رَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The (reward of) deeds, depend upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for the sake of Allah and His Apostle, then his emigration will be considered to be for Allah and His Apostle, and whoever emigrated for the sake of worldly gain or for a woman to marry, then his emigration will be considered to be for what he emigrated for." سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّةِ وَإِنَّمَا لِامْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ لِدُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Actions are judged by intentions, and each person will be rewarded according to what they intended. So whoever emigrates for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, their emigration will be for Allah and His Messenger. And whoever emigrates for worldly gains or to marry a woman, their emigration will be for what they emigrated for."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى؛ فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَإِلَى رَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَإِلَى رَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوْ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Verily, actions are judged by intentions, and to each person is what he intends. So whoever migrates for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, his migration is for the sake of Allah and His Messenger. And whoever migrates for worldly gain or to marry a woman, his migration is for the sake of what he migrated for.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَأَنَّ لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوْ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ يَنْكِحُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ

"إِنَّما الأَعمالُ بالنِّيّة، وَإِنَّما لكُلِّ امرئٍ ما نوى، فمن كانت هجرتُهُ إِلى اللَّه ورسولِهِ فهجرتُه إِلى اللَّه ورسولِهِ، ومن كانت هجرتُه إِلى دنيا يُصيبُها أَو امرأَة يتَزَوّجُها فهجرتُه إِلى ما هاجر إِليه".

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرئٍ مَا نَوَى، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا، فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِ".

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنَّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولهِ، فهِجْرَتُهُ إِلى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، وَمنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوْ امْرأَةٍ يَتَزَوَجُهَا، فَنِيَّتُهُ إِلَيْهَا۔»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى، فَمَنْ كَانَتَ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَتَ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيا يُصِيبُهَا أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا، فَهِجْرَتُهُ لِلدُّنْيَا۔»

"يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ: إِنَّمَا الأعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِىٍ مَا نَوى، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلى اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى دُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا، أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا، فَهِجْرَتُهُ إِلَى مَا هَاجَر إِلَيْهِ".
