[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say, "O Allah, you have perfected my creation, so perfect my character."  

أحمد:٣٨٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَاضِرٌ أَبُو الْمُوَرِّعِ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ عَوْسَجَةَ بْنِ الرَّمَّاحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ أَحْسَنْتَ خَلْقِي فَأَحْسِنْ خُلُقِي

Dua to improve character

ahmad:25221 – Hāshim Wʾaswad b. ʿĀmir > Isrāʾīl > ʿĀṣim > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith > ʿĀʾishah

The Prophet ﷺ said:

allāhumma aḥsanta khalqī fa-aḥsin khuluqi

(O Allah, You have made my beautified my form, so beautify my character ˹as well˺.)  

أحمد:٢٥٢٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ وأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ

إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: (اللهُمَّ أَحْسَنْتَ خَلْقِي فَأَحْسِنْ خُلُقِي)  

Dua for a person to ask Allah to improve their character just as He has endowed them with a good appearance

ذِكْرُ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْمَرْءِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا تَحْسِينَ خُلُقِهِ كَمَا تَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْهِ بِحُسْنِ صُورَتِهِ

ibnhibban:959 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr > Ibn Fuḍayl > ʿĀṣim > ʿAwsajah b. al-Rammāḥ > ʿAbdullāh b. Abū al-Hudhayl > Ibn Masʿūd

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "O Allah, You have beautified my physical appearance, so beautify my character ˹as well˺."
