The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not call a hypocrite sayyid (master), for if he is a sayyid, you will displease your Lord, Most High. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4977)   

أحمد:٢٢٩٣٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَقُولُوا لِلْمُنَافِقِ سَيِّدَنَا؛ فَإِنَّهُإِنْ يَكُ سَيِّدَكُمْ فَقَدْ أَسْخَطْتُمْ رَبَّكُمْ
