[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, "Al-kamma'ah (a type of plant) is a cure for the eye, and certainly dates are from the fruits of paradise. And indeed, this black seed," Ibn Buraydah said, referring to cumin seeds, "which is present in salt, is a cure for every disease except death."  

أحمد:٢٢٩٣٨حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الْبَجَلِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْكَمْأَةُ دَوَاءُ لِلْعَيْنِ وَإِنَّ الْعَجْوَةَ مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ قَالَ ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ يَعْنِي الشُّونِيزَ الَّذِي يَكُونُ فِي الْمِلْحِ دَوَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَ
