[Machine] Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from seeking permission to visit women except with the permission of their husbands.  

أحمد:١٧٧٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ذَكْوَانَ أَبَا صَالِحٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مَوْلًى لِعَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ أَرْسَلَهُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ يَسْتَأْذِنُهُ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ فَتَكَلَّمَا فِي حَاجَةٍ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ سَأَلَهُ الْمَوْلَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ

عَمْرٌو نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَأْذِنَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ
