The last thing which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed me was: When you lead the people in prayer, be brief.

آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمًا فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمُ الصَّلاَةَ

“When you lead people, keep it short for them.”

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمًا فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمْ

The last thing which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed me was: When you lead the people in prayer, be brief. (Using translation from Muslim 468b)

كَانَ آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمًا فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمُ الصَّلَاةَ»

آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَمَمْتَ قَوْمًا فَخَفِّفْ بِهِمُ الصَّلَاةَ»

[Machine] The last thing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrusted to me was to conceal prayer from people.

آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْ أَخِفَّ بِالنَّاسِ الصَّلَاةَ»

“When you lead people, keep it short for them.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 988)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَمَمْتَ الْقَوْمَ فَأَخِفَّ بِهِمُ الصَّلَاةَ

[Machine] The last thing that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ advised me when you lead a group is to conceal the prayer from them.
