adab:840 –

Abu Musa said, "I had a son and I brought him to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he named him Ibrahim. He chewed up a date and gave it to him and made supplication for him to be blessed and then gave him back to me." He was Abu Musa's oldest son.  

الأدب المفرد:٨٤٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ

عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ وُلِدَ لِي غُلاَمٌ فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَسَمَّاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَحَنَّكَهُ بِتَمْرَةٍ وَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَدَفَعَهُ إِلَيَّ وَكَانَ أَكْبَرَ وَلَدِ أَبِي مُوسَى

I got a son and I took him to the Prophet ﷺ who named him Ibrahim, and put in his mouth the juice of a date fruit (which be himself had chewed?, and invoked for Allah's blessing upon him, and then gave him back to me. He was the eldest son of Abii Musa.  

البخاري:٦١٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ

وُلِدَ لِي غُلاَمٌ فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَسَمَّاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَحَنَّكَهُ بِتَمْرَةٍ وَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَدَفَعَهُ إِلَىَّ وَكَانَ أَكْبَرَ وَلَدِ أَبِي مُوسَى  

bukhari:5467 – Isḥāq b. Naṣr > Abū Usāmah > Burayd > Abū Burdah > Abū Mūsá

A son was born to me and I took him to the Prophet ﷺ who named him Ibrahim, did Tahnik for him with a date, invoked Allah to bless him and returned him to me. (The narrator added: That was Abu Musa's eldest son.)  

البخاري:٥٤٦٧ – حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بُرَيْدٌ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ؓ قَالَ

وُلِدَ لِي غُلاَمٌ فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَسَمَّاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَحَنَّكَهُ بِتَمْرَةٍ وَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَدَفَعَهُ إِلَىَّ وَكَانَ أَكْبَرَ وَلَدِ أَبِي مُوسَى  

muslim:2145 – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah And ʿAbd Allāh b. Barrād al-Ashʿarī Waʾabū Kurayb > Abū Usāmah > Burayd > Abū Burdah > Abū Mūsá

A child was born in my house and I brought him to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upod him) and he gave him the name of Ibrahim and he rubbed his palate with dates.  

مسلم:٢١٤٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَرَّادٍ الأَشْعَرِيُّ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ
