دَيْلَمُ بْنُ فَيْرُوزَ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ

tabarani:4206 – ʿAbdān b. Muḥammad al-Marwazī > Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ibn Lahīʿah > Yazīd b. Abū Ḥabīb And ʿAyyāsh b. ʿAbbās > Abū al-Khayr > Daylam al-Jayshānī

[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we live in a cold land with extreme cold weather, and we make a drink from wheat. Is it permissible to drink it?" He asked, "Does it intoxicate you?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Then it is forbidden; it is wine."

الطبراني:٤٢٠٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ وَعَيَّاشِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ دَيْلَمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ بَارِدَةٍ شَدِيدَةِ الْبَرْدِ نَصْنَعُ بِهَا شَرَابًا مِنَ الْقَمْحِ أَفَيَحِلُّ شُرْبُهُ قَالَ «أَيُسْكِرُكُمْ؟» قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ «فَإِنَّهُ خَمْرٌ»
