مَعْمَرُ بْنُ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ

[Machine] I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and al-Hasan and al-Husayn were playing in front of him and in his chamber. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you love them?" He said, "And how can I not love them, when they are my two fragrant flowers in this worldly life and I smell them."

الطبراني:٣٩٩٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَابَهْرَامَ الْأَيْذَجِيُّ ثنا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَنْبَسَةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَزْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَالْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ ؓ يَلْعَبَانِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَفِي حِجْرِهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتُحِبُّهُمَا؟ قَالَ «وَكَيْفَ لَا أُحِبُّهُمَا وَهُمَا رَيْحَانَتَايَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا أَشُمُّهُمَا»

"عنْ سَعْدِ بنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِىِّ ﷺ والْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ يَلْعَبانِ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ، فَقُلتُ: يَا رَسُولَ الله! أَتُحِبُّهُمَا؟ فَقَالَ: وَمَالِى لَا أُحِبُّهُمَا وَإِنَّهُمَا رَيْحَانَتَاىَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا".
