[Machine] "No, that is the garment of one who has been humiliated," so he took a robe and tore it, and placed it underneath his clothes. When he was killed, they stripped him naked.  

الطبراني:٢٨٥٠حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ قَالَ حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ؓ حِينَ أَحَسَّ بِالْقَتْلِ «§ائْتُونِي ثَوْبًا لَا يَرْغَبُ فِيهِ أَحَدٌ أَجْعَلْهُ تَحْتَ ثِيَابِي لَا أُجَرَّدُ» فَقِيلَ لَهُ تُبَّانٌ؟ فَقَالَ

«لَا؛ ذَلِكِ لِبَاسُ مَنْ ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِ الذِّلَّةُ» فَأَخَذَ ثَوْبًا فَمَزَّقَهُ فَجَعَلَهُ تَحْتَ ثِيَابَهِ فَلَمَّا أَنْ قُتِلَ جَرَّدُوهُ
