قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ وَقَّاصٍ السُّلَمِيُّ

tabarani:16110 – Abū Muslim al-Kashhī And al-ʿAbbās b. al-Faḍl al-Asfāṭī Waʾabū Khalīfah al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb And Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb b. Sūrah al-Baghdādī > Abū al-Walīd al-Ṭayālisī > Abū Hāshim ʿUmārah b. ʿAmmār Ṣāḥib al-Zaʿfarānī > Ṣāliḥ b. ʿUbayd > Qabīṣah b. Waqqāṣ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: After me you will be ruled by rulers who will delay the prayer and it will be to your credit but to their discredit. So pray with them so long as they pray facing the qiblah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 434)  

الطبراني:١٦١١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ وَالْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سُورَةَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالُوا ثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ عُمَارَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ صَاحِبُ الزَّعْفَرَانِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءٌ مِنْ بَعْدِي يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَوَاتِ فَهِيَ لَكُمْ وَهِيَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَصَلُّوا مَعَهُمْ مَا صَلُّوا بِكُمُ الْقِبْلَةَ»
