[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued until he reached the outskirts of the Ansar's dwellings and found a group of people. He asked, "Who slaughtered?" A man came out and said, "O Messenger of Allah, today is a day of hardship in terms of food." He said, "Prepare something." The man said, "By Allah, all I have is a piece or a pregnant sheep." He said, "Prepare it." He said this three times, then he said, "Slaughter it and it will not be sufficient for anyone after you."

[Machine] I went with my father to the Prophet ﷺ as his people embraced Islam. He advised us, saying, "Let the one among you who knows the most Qur'an lead you in prayer." As I knew the most Qur'an, they made me lead them.

“O Allah, whoever believes in my and knows that what I have brought is the truth from You, decrease his wealth and his children, and make the meeting with You dear to him, and hasten his death. Whoever does not believe in me and does not know that what I have brought is the truth from You, increase his wealth and his children and make his life long.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4133)

tabarani:14138[Chain 1] Muḥammad b. ʿAlī al-Ṣāʾigh al-Makkī > al-Qaʿnabī > Kathīr b. ʿAbdullāh al-Muzanī [Chain 2] ʿAlī b. al-Mubārak al-Ṣanʿānī > Ismāʿīl b. Abū Ūways > Kathīr b. ʿAbdullāh from his father from his grandfather

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that Kathir bin Abdullah alMuzani reported to us, and Ali bin alMubarak alSan'ani narrated to us, reporting from Ismail bin Abi Uwais, reporting from Kathir bin Abdullah, who reported from his father, who reported from his grandfather, who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'The world will not pass away until there is a bond of Muslims with Bilan (a place), O Ali.' Ali bin Abi Talib said, 'At your service, O Messenger of Allah.' He ﷺ said, 'You will fight the Banu Asfar (a tribe) and those who come after you from the believers will also fight them. Then the cavalry of the Muslims, the people of Hijaz who fight in the cause of Allah, will emerge to fight them. They will not be blamed by Allah for anything until Allah grants them the conquest of Constantinople and Rome through praise and glorification. Then Allah will destroy their fort and they will attain a great amount of wealth that they have never attained before. Indeed, they will divide it among themselves. Then a caller will shout, 'O people of Islam, the Dajjal (Antichrist) has emerged in your land.' People will become so engrossed in wealth that among them will be those who take and those who abandon. Regrettably, the taker will regret, and the abandoner will regret. Then they will say, 'Who is this caller?' They will not know who he is. So they will say, 'Send a vanguard to Lud, perhaps the Dajjal has come out, and he will bring knowledge to you.' They will go and see, but they will not find anything, and they will see people remaining silent. They will say, 'The caller only called to us.' So prepare yourselves and give guidance. We all will go to Lud, and if indeed the Dajjal is there, we will fight him until Allah passes His judgment between us and him, and He is the best of judges. And if it is not the case, it is your land, your tribes, and your armies, and you will return to it."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, religion will spread to the land of Hijaz like a snake seeking its hole. And verily, religion will prevail in Hijaz, just as the Arwiyyah mountain stands firm against any adversity. Verily, religion started as something strange and will return to being strange. So, blessed are the strangers who rectify what people corrupt after me of my Sunnah."

[Machine] We participated in the first expedition with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , which was the expedition of Al-Abwa. When we reached Al-Rawha, we stopped at Al-Thabiyah Well. The Prophet ﷺ performed the prayer there and then asked, "Do you know the name of this mountain?" We said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "This is a mountain from the mountains of Paradise. O Allah, bless it and bless its people." He also said to Al-Rawha, "This is a valley of the valleys of Paradise. Seventy prophets have prayed in this mosque before me, and Musa (Moses) ﷺ passed by it with two green garments on a gray camel, among seventy thousand people from the Children of Israel, on pilgrimage to the Ancient House (the Kaaba). And the hour will not pass until 'Isa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), comes by it as a pilgrim or visitor, or Allah gathers that for him."

When the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saw it, he turned away from it on a hot day to a shade that was closer to him. A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, make for us Dhatus Anwatin like what they have." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to him, "Indeed, these are the customs that you follow. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, just as the Children of Israel said to Moses, 'Make for us a god as they have gods'. He said, 'Would you substitute Allah for something inferior while He has favored you over the worlds?"

(An ally of the tribe of Bani 'Amir bin Lu'ai and one of those who had witnessed the battle of Badr with Messenger of Allah ﷺ) Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Abu 'Ubaida bin AlJarrah to Bahrain to collect the Jizya tax. Messenger of Allah ﷺ had concluded a peace treaty with the people of Bahrain and appointed Al 'Ala bin Al-Hadrami as their chief; Abu Ubaida arrived from Bahrain with the money. The Ansar heard of Abu 'Ubaida's arrival which coincided with the Fajr (morning) prayer led by Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the Prophet ﷺ finished the prayer, they came to him. Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled when he saw them and said, "I think you have heard of the arrival of Abu 'Ubaida and that he has brought something." They replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! " He said, "Have the good news, and hope for what will please you. By Allah, I am not afraid that you will become poor, but I am afraid that worldly wealth will be given to you in abundance as it was given to those (nations) before you, and you will start competing each other for it as the previous nations competed for it, and then it will divert you (from good) as it diverted them." A man came forward and said, "I did, O Messenger of Allah. Today is a day when food is disliked." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Prepare something." The man said, "By Allah, I have nothing but a piece of mutton or a pregnant goat." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Go ahead and slaughter it, and it will not be counted as a sacrifice for anyone after you."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by our homes and found a slaughtered sheep. He asked, "Who slaughtered it?" A man from among us came forward and said, "O Messenger of Allah, it was a day on which the meat was disliked, so I slaughtered it to eat and feed my neighbors." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Prepare the slaughter again." The man said, "By Allah, I do not have anything except a lamb or a pregnant sheep." He repeated this statement three times. The Prophet ﷺ said, "So slaughter it, and there is no reward for leaving any part of it for anyone after you." And he had slaughtered it before the prayer.

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying during the Farewell Hajj: "Should I not inform you of which day is the holiest?" They said: "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Indeed, your blood, your wealth, and your honor are sacred amongst you, just as this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours. Behold! Nothing is permissible for you except for what is permissible for you today, in this land of yours, in this month of yours. No traveler shall be safe except those who have a permit from their parents. No child will be legitimate upon their father and no father will be legitimate upon their child. Behold! Indeed, Satan has despaired of being worshipped in your land ever. However, he will be obeyed in some of those actions that you belittle. And he will be content with them. Behold! Every bloodshed from the pre-Islamic era is null and void. And the first bloodshed that I revoke is the blood of Harith ibn Abdul-Muttalib, who was being breastfed among Bani Layth, so he was killed by them. Then he said: "O people! Have I not conveyed the message to you?" They said: "Indeed, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "O Allah, bear witness!"
