I would like you to pray that Allah makes them obedient to me." He said to his companions, "Get up with us." So he went until he came to the door, and he said, "Open." The man hesitated because he was worried about the Prophet ﷺ , but he said, "Open." So he opened the door, and one of the stallions was close to the door. When the Prophet ﷺ saw it, he prostrated to it and said, "Bring me something more powerful than it, and I will grant you what you want." So he brought some rubbish and he held it against the stallion's head, and the stallion submitted to him. Then he walked to the farthest corner of the wall to the other stallion, and when he saw it, it fell prostrate to him. He said to the man, "Bring me something more powerful than it." So he held its head against something and it submitted to him. He said, "Go, for they will not disobey you." When the companions of the Prophet ﷺ saw this, they said, "O Messenger of Allah, these two stallions that do not have reason prostrated to you, should we not then prostrate to you?" He said, "I do not command anyone to prostrate to another. Even if I were to command someone to prostrate to another, I would command the woman to prostrate to her husband."
