[Machine] Al-Abbas was walking with the Prophet ﷺ on a camel that had been branded on its face with fire, so he said, "What is this branding, O Abbas?" He replied, "It is a branding that we used to do in the pre-Islamic era." So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not brand with fire."  

الطبراني:١١٩٨٣حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ الْعَبَّاسُ يَسِيرُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ قَدْ وَسَمَهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ بِالنَّارِ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا الْمِيسَمُ يَا عَبَّاسُ؟» قَالَ مِيسَمٌ كُنَّا نَسِمُهُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقَالَ «لَا تَسِمُوا بِالْحَريقِ»
