I went to visit ʿAbdullah bin ʿUmar at his house which contained many tents made of cotton cloth and these were encircled with Suradik (part of the tent). I asked him from where, should one assume Ihram for Umra. He said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ had fixed as Miqat (singular of Mawaqit) Qarn for the people of Najd, Dhul-Hulaifa for the people of Medina, and Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham."

فَرَضَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلأَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ الْجُحْفَةَ

ʿAbdullah bin ʿUmar said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The people of Medina should assume lhram from Dhul-Hulaifa; the people of Sham from Al-Juhfa; and the people of Najd from Qarn." And ʿAbdullah added, "I was informed that Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said, 'The people of Yemen should assume Ihram from Yalamlam.' "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّأْمِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The Miqat for the people of Medina is Dhul-Hulaifa; for the people of Sham is Mahita; (i.e. Al-Juhfa); and for the people of Najd is Qarn. And said Ibn ʿUmar, "They claim, but I did not hear personally, that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The Miqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذُو الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ مَهْيَعَةُ وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ وَأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنٌ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ؓ زَعَمُوا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمُ

Ibn ʿUmar said, "The Prophet ﷺ fixed Qarn as the Miqat (for assuming the Ihram) for the people of Najd, and Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham, and Dhul-Hulaifa for the people of Medina." Ibn ʿUmar added, "I heard this from the Prophet, and I have been informed that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'The Miqat for the Yemenites is Yalamlam.' "When Iraq was mentioned, he said, "At that time it was not a Muslim country."

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَقَّتَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَرْنًا لأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ وَالْجُحْفَةَ لأَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ وَذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ هَذَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ وَلأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمُ وَذُكِرَ الْعِرَاقُ فَقَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ عِرَاقٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ

The people of Medina should enter upon the state of Ihram at Dhu'l-Hulaifa, and people of Syria at Juhfa, and people of Najd at Qarn (al-Manazil), and 'Abdullah (further) said: It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ also caid: The people of Yemen should enter upon the state of Ihram at Yalamlam.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

The people of Medina should enter upon the state of Ihram at Dhu'l-Hulaifa; the people of Syria at Juhfa, the people of Najd at Qarn (al-Manazil). Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) said: It was mentioned to me but I did not myself bear it (directly) from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ having said this: The people of Yemen should enter upon the state of Ihram at Yalamlam.

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying that the people of Medina should enter upon the state of Ihram at Dhu'l- Hulaifa, the people of Syria at Mahya'a and that is Juhfa, and the people of Najd at Qarn (al-Manazil). 'Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) said: (I did not hear it myself from him) but heard from them saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had (also) said: The people of Yemen should enter upon the state of Ihram at Yalamlam.

I was informed that he said that the people of Yemen should enter upon the state of Ihram at Yalamlam.

أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنْ يُهِلُّوا مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلَ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلَ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ؓ وَأُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) appointed the following places for putting on Ihram : Dhul al-Hulaifah for the people of Madina, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria and al-Qarn for the people of Najd and have been told that appointed Yalamlam for the people of Yemen.

وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ

"The people of Al-Madinah should enter into Ihram from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-sham from Al-Juhfah, the people of Najd from Qarn." 'Abdullah said: "And it was conveyed to me, that the Messenger of Allah said: 'And the people of Yemen should enter into Ihram from Yalamlam.'''

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

That the Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah, Al-Juhfah for the people of Ash-sham and Eguypt, Dhat 'Irq fro the people of al-Iraq, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ وَمِصْرَ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ وَلأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ

the Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah Al-Juhfah for the people of Najd, and Yalmlam for the people of Yemen. He said: "They are for them, and for anyone who comes to them from elsewhere. If a person's place of residence is within the boundary of the Miqat, then (he should enter into Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah.''(Sihah)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ وَقَالَ هُنَّ لَهُنَّ وَلِكُلِّ آتٍ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِهِنَّ فَمَنْ كَانَ أَهْلُهُ دُونَ الْمِيقَاتِ حَيْثُ يُنْشِئُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ

"The people of Al-Madinah should enter into Ihram from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-sham from Al-Juhfah, the people of Najd from Qarn." And it was mentioned to me, although I did not hear him say it: "And the people of Yemen should enter into Ihram from Yalamlam.;

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ نُهِلُّ؟ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ وَيَقُولُونَ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ appointed Dhul Hulayfah as the time for the people of Madinah, Qarn for the people of Najd, Juhfah for the people of Sham (Greater Syria), and he said, "I have entrusted these three with their keeping from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." And it was narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "And for the people of Yemen, they are to gather." It was said to him, "And what about Iraq?" He said, "There was no Iraq at that time."

وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَقَالَ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثُ حَفِظْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَحُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ الْعِرَاقُ قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ عِرَاقٌ

"The people of Al-Madinah should enter into Ihram from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-sham from Al-Juhfah, the people of Najd from Qarn." أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَزَعَمُوا أَنَّهُوَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ

"The Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah, Al-Juhfah for the people Ash-sham and Egypt, Dhat 'Irq for the people Al-'Iraq, Qarn for the people of Najd and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2656)

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ قَالَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ قِيلَ لَهُ فَالْعِرَاقُ قَالَ لَا عِرَاقَ يَوْمَئِذٍ

The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) appointed the following places for putting on Ihram : Dhul al-Hulaifah for the people of Madina, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria and al-Qarn for the people of Najd and have been told that appointed Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَاالْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ وَأَهْلِ تِهَامَةَ يَلَمْلَمَ وَلِأَهْلِ الطَّائِفِ وَهِيَ نَجْدٌ قَرَن وَلِأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ

[AI] I heard, then he finished, I saw him wanting the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Delay the people of Madinah from Thilul-Hulayfah and the other road Al-Juhfah, delay the people of Iraq from Thaat al-Iraq, delay the people of Najd from Qarn, and delay the people of Yemen from Yalamlamah."

سَمِعْتُ ثُمَّ انْتَهَى أُرَاهُ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَالطَّرِيقِ الْأُخْرَى الْجُحْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The mohall (grazing area) of the people of Madinah is Dhi'l-Hulayfah, and the mohall of the people of the other path is Al-Juhfah, and the mohall of the people of Iraq is Dhat 'Irq, and the mohall of the people of Najd is Qarn, and the mohall of the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الطَّرِيقِ الْأُخْرَى مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Madina should enter ihram at Dhu'l-Hulayfa, the people of Syria should do so at al-Juhfa, and the people of Najd should do so at Qarn." Abdullah ibn Umar added, "I have heard that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The people of Yemen should enter ihram at Yalamlam.' "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ

"The people of Al-Madinah should enter into Ihram from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-sham from Al-Juhfah, the people of Najd from Qarn." 'Abdullah said: "And it was conveyed to me, that the Messenger of Allah said: 'And the people of Yemen should enter into Ihram from Yalamlam.''' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2651)

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنْ يُهِلُّوا مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةَ وَأَهْلَ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلَ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ» قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَمَّا هَؤُلَاءِ فَسَمِعْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلَ الْيَمَنِ مَنْ يلَمْلَمَ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُهِلَّ؟ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةَ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدِ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ وَيَقُولُونَ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلْمَلَمَ

قَالَ وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةَ وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا

That the Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah, Al-Juhfah for the people of Ash-sham and Eguypt, Dhat 'Irq fro the people of al-Iraq, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2653)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدَائِنِ الْعَقِيقَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ وَلِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Medina will migrate from Dhul-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from Juhefah, the people of Yemen from Yalamlam, and the people of Najd from Qarn."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , designated the time of arrival for the people of Madinah at Dhul-Hulayfah, for the people of Sham at Juhfah, for the people of Najd at Qarn, and for the people of Yemen at Yalamlam. And whoever arrives from wherever they come, intending to perform Hajj or Umrah, should enter the state of Ihram from their current location until the people of Makkah from Makkah."

«وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ لِأَهْلِهِنَّ وَلِمَنْ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهِنَّ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَ ذَلِكَ فَمِنْ حَيْثُ أَنْشَأَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ»

[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he scheduled for the people of Medina to gather at Dhul-Hulayfah, and for the people of Sham (Syria) to gather at Juhfah, and for the people of Yemen to gather at Yalamlam.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ»

The Prophet ﷺ fixed Dhul-Hulaifa as the Miqat for the people of Medina, Al-Juhfa, for the people of Sham, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen, and Qarn for the people of Najd. And these Mawaqit are for those living at those very places, and besides them for those who come through those places with the intention of performing Hajj and Umra; and whoever is living inside these places can assume lhram from his own dwelling place, and the people of Mecca can assume lhram from Mecca. «وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , determined the timings for their own people, as well as for those who came to perform Hajj and Umrah. He also determined the timings for the people of Madinah, specifically Dhu al-Hulayfah, the people of Ash-Sham, specifically al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd, specifically Qarn."

«وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَوَاقِيتَ لِأَهْلِهَا وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهَا مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , appointed the time for the people of Madinah as Dhu Al-Hulayfah, for the people of Sham as Al-Juhfah, for the people of Najd as Qarn, and for the people of Yemen as Yalmalmam."

«وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ»

ʿAbdullah bin ʿUmar said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The people of Medina should assume lhram from Dhul-Hulaifa; the people of Sham from Al-Juhfa; and the people of Najd from Qarn." And ʿAbdullah added, "I was informed that Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said, 'The people of Yemen should assume Ihram from Yalamlam.' " (Using translation from Bukhārī 1525)

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ وَمِصْرَ جُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ»

the Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah Al-Juhfah for the people of Najd, and Yalmlam for the people of Yemen. He said: "They are for them, and for anyone who comes to them from elsewhere. If a person's place of residence is within the boundary of the Miqat, then (he should enter into Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah.''(Sihah) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2654)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ وَقَالَ «هِيَ لَهُمْ وَلِكُلِّ آتٍ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِهِنَّ فَمَنْ كَانَ أَهْلُهُ دُونَ الْمِيقَاتِ حَيْثُ يُنْشِئُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ»

"The people of Al-Madinah should enter into Ihram from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-sham from Al-Juhfah, the people of Najd from Qarn." And it was mentioned to me, although I did not hear him say it: "And the people of Yemen should enter into Ihram from Yalamlam.; (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2655)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ» وَذُكِرَ لِي وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ»

"The Messenger of 'Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah, Al-Juhfah for the people of Ash-sham, Qarn for the people of Najd, and Yalamalam for the people of Yemen. He aid: "They are for them and for those who pass by them who are not of their people who intend to perform Hajj and 'Umrah. If a person's place of residence is within the boundary of the Miqat, then (he should enter into Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah.'' وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ قَالَ هِيَ لَهُمْ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ سِوَاهُنَّ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ ثُمَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ بَدَأَ مَا يَبْلُغُ ذَلِكَ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ allocated a specific time for the people of Madinah, specifically Dhul-Hulayfah. He also allocated a time for the people of Sham, specifically Al-Juhfah, and for the people of Yemen and the people of Tihamah who gathered in Yalamlam. He also allocated a time for the people of Ta'if, which is in Najd region, and for the people of Iraq, specifically those from the Arab ethnic group."

وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ وَأَهْلُ تِهَامَةَ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَلِأَهْلِ الطَّائِفِ وَهِيَ نَجْدٌ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Madinah come from Dhul-Hulayfah, and the people of Sham and Egypt come from Juhaafah, and the people of Yemen come from Yalamlam, and the people of Iraq come from Dhat al-Irq."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ وَمِصْرَ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتُ عِرْقٍ

"وَقَّتَ رسُولُ الله ﷺ لأَهْلِ الْمَدَائِنِ الْعَقِيقَ، وَلَا أهلِ الْبَصْرَةِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ، وَلأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ولأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ".
