"أمَامكم عَقَبةٌ كؤودٌ، لَا يَجُوزُها المُثقْلُون فأنَا أرِيد أن أتَخَفَّف لتلك العقبة".

الحاكم وصَّححه من حديث أمِّ الدرداء قالت: قلت لأبي الدرداء: ما يمنَعك أَنْ تبتغى لأضيافِك؟ قال: سمعتُ رسولَ الله ﷺ يقول: أمامكم وذكره)

[Machine] I said to Abu Darda, "Do you not seek for your guests what men seek for their guests?" He replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Indeed, before you there is a difficult obstacle that cannot be crossed by the heavy-loaded ones.' So I prefer to lighten the burden for that obstacle."

الحاكم:٨٧١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ وَهُوَ الصَّغِيرُ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَلَا تَبْتَغِي لِأَضْيَافِكَ مَا يَبْتَغِي الرِّجَالُ لِأَضْيَافِهِمْ؟ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَمَامَكُمْ عَقَبَةً كَئُودًا لَا يَجُوزُهَا الْمُثْقِلُونَ» فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ أَتَخَفَّفَ لِتِلْكَ الْعَقَبَةِ

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» صحيح
