"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: كانَ عُمَرُ يَحْلِفُ: وَأَبِى، فَنَهَاهُ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ وَقَالَ: مَن حلَفَ بِشَىْءٍ مِنْ دُونِ الله فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ، أَوْ قَالَ: ألا هُوَ شِرْكٌ".

[Machine] Umar used to swear, and then the Prophet ﷺ forbade him from doing so. He said, "Whoever swears by something other than Allah, he has committed shirk (associating partners with Allah)." The other person said, "So swearing is considered shirk."  

أحمد:٤٩٠٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَالْأَعْمَشِ وَمَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
