الترمذي:٢١١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قال حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَرِثُ الْوَلاَءَ مَنْ يَرِثُ الْمَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ

ahmad:147 – Abū Saʿīd > ʿAbdullāh b. Lahīʿah > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father > Jaddihi > ʿUmar

ʿNo father is to be killed in retaliatory punishment for his sonʿ And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThe one who inherits loyalty (wala - loyalty of a free slave) also inherits his wealth

أحمد:١٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِعَنْ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُقَادُ وَالِدٌ مِنْ وَلَدٍ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرِثُ الْمَالَ مَنْ يَرِثُ الْوَلاءَ

ahmad:324 – ʿAbdullāh b. Zayd > Ibn Lahīʿah > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father > Jaddihi > ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ʿThe loyalty (walaʿ) of a freed slave (to his former master) is passed on to the one who inherits his wealth, father or son.”

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَرِثُ الْوَلَاءَ مَنْ وَرِثَ الْمَالَ مِنْ وَالِدٍ أَوْ وَلَدٍ

malik:27-18 – Yaḥyá > Mālik > Ibn Shihāb > ʿAlī b. Ḥusayn b. ʿAlī > ʿUmar b. ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān > Usāmah b. Zayd

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ali ibn Husayn ibn Ali from Umar ibn Uthman ibn Affan from Usama ibn Zayd that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A muslim does not inherit from a kafir."

مالك:٢٧-١٨ – حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ
