"يَرِثُ الْوَلاءَ منْ وَرِثَ الْمَالَ مِنْ وَالِدٍ أَوْ وَلَدٍ".
ʿNo father is to be killed in retaliatory punishment for his sonʿ And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThe one who inherits loyalty (wala - loyalty of a free slave) also inherits his wealth
