"The one who inherits the Wala is the one who inherits the wealth."  

الترمذي:٢١١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قال حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَرِثُ الْوَلاَءَ مَنْ يَرِثُ الْمَالَ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ali ibn Husayn ibn Ali from Umar ibn Uthman ibn Affan from Usama ibn Zayd that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A muslim does not inherit from a kafir."  

مالك:٢٧-١٨ – حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ  

ahmad:147 – Abū Saʿīd > ʿAbdullāh b. Lahīʿah > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father > Jaddihiʿan ʿUmar

ʿNo father is to be killed in retaliatory punishment for his sonʿ And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThe one who inherits loyalty (wala - loyalty of a free slave) also inherits his wealth
