"يَا عُثْمَانُ: إِنْ كَسَاكَ الله قَميصًا فأرادَك الناسُ عَلَى خَلعهِ، فَلاَ تَخْلَعْه، فَوالله لَئِنْ خَلَعْته، لا تَرى الجَنَّةَ حتى يَلِج الجملُ فِى سَمِّ الخياطِ".

"يَا عُثْمَانُ: إِنَّ الله مُقَمِّصُكَ قَميصًا يُرِيدُكَ النَّاسُ عَلَى خَلعهِ، فَلاَ تَخْلعهُ، فَإِنْ أَنْتَ خَلَعتَهُ لَمْ تَرحْ رَائِحَةَ الجَنَّةِ".
