Making up missed Ramadan fasts before voluntary fasting

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: "Whoever reaches Ramadan while he still owes something from Ramadan that he has not made up, it will not be accepted from him; and whoever fasts voluntarily while he still owes something from Ramadan that he has not made up, it will not be accepted from him until he fasts it."

أحمد:٨٦٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَمَضَانَ وَعَلَيْهِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ شَيْءٌ لَمْ يَقْضِهِ، لَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ صَامَ تَطَوُّعًا وَعَلَيْهِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ شَيْءٌ لَمْ يَقْضِهِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُتَقَبَّلُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى يَصُومَهُ».
