"مَا مِنْ أَحَد يَقْتُلُ عُصْفُورًا إلا عَجَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ هَذَا قَتَلَنِي عَبثًا، فَلا هُو انْتفَعَ بِقَتْلِي، وَلا هُوَ تَرَكَنِي فَأَعِيشُ فِي أَرْضِك".

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever kills a sparrow without a just cause, it will plead to Allah on the Day of Judgment, saying, 'O Lord, this person has killed me in vain, neither benefiting from my death nor leaving me be to live on Your earth."
