[Machine] The Prophet entered upon Zaid bin Arqam when he was sick and said, "Your sickness is not a problem for you, but how will it be for you when you age after me and become blind?" Zaid said, "Then I will seek reward and be patient." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then you will enter Paradise without being brought to account." Zaid became blind after the Prophet ﷺ died, then Allah restored his sight to him, and he died. May Allah have mercy on him.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ يَعُودُهُ مِنْ مَرِضٍ كَانَ بِهِ قَالَ «لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ مَرَضِكَ هَذَا بَأْسٌ وَلَكِنْ كَيْفَ بِكَ إِذَا عُمِّرْتَ بَعْدِي فَعَمِيتَ؟» قَالَ إِذَنْ أَحْتَسِبُ وَأَصْبِرُ قَالَ «إِذَنْ تَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ» قَالَ فَعَمِيَ بَعْدَمَا مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ رَدَّ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ بَصَرَهُ ثُمَّ مَاتَ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ

"عن زيد بن أرقم أن النبى ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ يَعُودُهُ مِنْ مَرضٍ كَانَ بِهِ، فَقَالَ: لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ مَرَضِكَ هَذَا بِأسٌ، وَلَكِنْ كَيْفَ بِكَ إِذَا عَمَّرْتَ بَعْدِى فَعَمَيْتَ؟ ! قَالَ: إِذَنْ أَحْتَسِبَ وَأَصْبِرَ، قَالَ: إِذَنْ تَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ، فَعَمِىَ بَعْدَ مَا مَاتَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ ".
