[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Al-Madina, "You will leave it for what is better than it used to be, humiliated by diseases, meaning wolves and birds."
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, Medina will be left in a good state, as long as birds and wild animals consume it."
Its inhabitants will abandon it, whereas it is good for them and it will become the haunt of beasts and birds. (Imam Muslim said that Abu Safwan, one of the narrators whose name was 'Abdullah b. 'Abd al-Malik, was an orphan and I bn juraij took him under his care for ten years.) (Using translation from Muslim 1389a)
