nasai-kubra:11471 – al-Ḥusayn b. Manṣūr > ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr > Muḥammad b. al-ʿAlāʾ > Abū Muʿāwiyah > al-Aʿmash > Ziyād b. Ḥuṣayn > Abū al-ʿĀliyah

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that he (the Holy Prophet) saw (Allah) with, his heart. (Using translation from Muslim 176a)   

الكبرى للنسائي:١١٤٧١ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ حُصَينٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ {§مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى} [النجم 11] قَالَ «رَآهُ بِقَلْبِهِ» وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ {مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى} [النجم 11] قَالَ «رَآهُ بِقَلْبِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ»
