Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Umar ibn al-Khattab and Ali ibn Abi Talib and Uthman ibn Affan drank while standing.

مالك:٤٩-١٣ – حَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَعُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ كَانُوا يَشْرَبُونَ قِيَامًا

أبو داود:٤٨٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ

أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ وَعُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ كَانَا يَفْعَلاَنِ ذَلِكَ

malik:9-96 – Mālik > Ibn Shihāb > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ihn al-Musayyab that Umar ibn al Khattab and Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with them, used to do the same.
