Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to invoke (Allah): "Allahumma ini aʿudhu bika min 'adhabi-l-Qabr, wa min 'adhabi-nnar, wa min fitnati-l-mahya wa-lmamat, wa min fitnati-l-masih ad-dajjal. (O Allah! I seek refuge with you from the punishment in the grave and from the punishment in the Hell fire and from the afflictions of life and death, and the afflictions of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

The Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) said: When any one of you utters tashahhud (in prayer) he must seek refuge with Allah from four (trials) and should thus say:" O Allah! I seek refuge with Thee from the torment of the Hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trial of life and death and from the evil of the trial of Masih al-Dajjal" (Antichrist).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَشَهَّدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to seek refuge with Allah from five things, saying: "Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave, and from the torment of Hell, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of Al-Masihid-Dajjal."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ خَمْسٍ يَقُولُ عُوذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

"He (meaning the Prophet [SAW]) said: 'Seek refuge with Allah from five things: From the torment of Hell, the torment of the grave, the trials of life and death, and the tribulation of Al-Masihid-Dajjal.'"

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مِنْ فِيهِ إِلَى فِيَّ قَالَ وَقَالَ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ خَمْسٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

The Prophet [SAW] said: "Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of Allah, seek refuge with Allah from the trials of life and death, from the torment of the grave and from the tribulation of the Al-Masihid-Dajjal."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ عُوذُوا بِاللَّهِ ﷻ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ عُوذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the Fire and the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of Al-Masihid-Dajjal."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

"I heard Abu Hurairah say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you recites the tashahhud, let him seek refuge with Allah (SWT) from our things: From the torment of hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death and from the evils of the Dajjal. Then let him pray for himself asking whatever he wants.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَشَهَّدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ ثُمَّ يَدْعُو لِنَفْسِهِ بِمَا بَدَا لَهُ

When one of you finishes the last tashahhud, he should seek refuge in Allah from four things: the punishment in Hell, the punishment in the grave, the trail of life and death, and the evil of Antichrist.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا فَرَغَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ التَّشَهُّدِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to seek refuge in Allah from four things: the punishment of Hellfire, the punishment of the grave, the trials of life and death, and the trial of the Antichrist.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا فَرَغَأَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ التَّشَهُّدِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

"He (meaning the Prophet [SAW]) said: 'Seek refuge with Allah from five things: From the torment of Hell, the torment of the grave, the trials of life and death, and the tribulation of Al-Masihid-Dajjal.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5511)

وَقَالَ اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللهِ مِنْ خَمْسٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he used to seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave, from the punishment of Hellfire, and from the tribulations of the false messiah (the Antichrist).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

The Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) said: When any one of you utters tashahhud (in prayer) he must seek refuge with Allah from four (trials) and should thus say:" O Allah! [Machine] The translation of the given Arabic text into English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say after every prayer, 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of the Hellfire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the trial of the false messiah (the Antichrist).' "

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاتِهِ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا فَرَغَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ التَّشَهُّدِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ»

The Prophet ﷺ used to say after the tashahhud: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the punishment in Hell, and I seek refuge in Thee from the punishment in the grave, and I seek refuge in Thee from the trial of antichrist, and I seek refuge in Thee from the trial of life and death." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 984)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ»

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to seek refuge with Allah from five things, saying: "Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave, and from the torment of Hell, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of Al-Masihid-Dajjal." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5509)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ خَمْسٍ يَقُولُ «عُوذُوا بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَشَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ»

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say in his supplication: "Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabi jahannama, wa a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabri, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-masihid-dajjali, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the torment of Hell, and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the tribulation of the Al-Masihid-Dajjal, and I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death.)" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5514)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكْ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ»

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the Fire and the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of Al-Masihid-Dajjal." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5518)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ»

"I heard Abu Hurairah say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you recites the tashahhud, let him seek refuge with Allah (SWT) from our things: From the torment of hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death and from the evils of the Dajjal. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you finishes his prayer, let him supplicate four du'as, then let him supplicate whatever he wishes. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hellfire and the punishment of the grave and the tribulation of life and death and the tribulation of the false messiah (Dajjal)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا فَرَغَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَدْعُ بِأَرْبَعٍ ثُمَّ لِيَدْعُ بَعْدُ بِمَا شَاءَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

"إذا فرغَ أحدُكُمْ من التشَّهد الأخير فليتعوذ بالله مِنْ أرْبعٍ يقولُ: اللهُمَّ إِنى أعوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عذاب جهنَّمَ، ومِنْ عذاب القبْر، ومنْ فتنة المحْيا والممات، ومنْ شر فتْنةِ المسيحِ الدجَّال".

"إذا فرغَ أحدُكُمْ مِنْ صلاتهِ فليدع بأربعٍ، ثُمَّ ليدع بعدُ مما شاءَ اللهُمَّ إِنى أعوذُ بِكَ من عذابِ جهَنمَ وعذابِ القبر، وفتنة المحيا والممات، وفتنة المسيح الدجَّال".

"إذا تشهدَ أحدُكمُ فْليتعوَّذ مِنْ أربعٍ: مِنْ عذاب جهنَّم، وعذابِ القبر، وفتْنَةِ المحيا والمماتِ، ومِنْ شرِّ المسيح الدجال ثم يدعو لنفسه بما بَدَا لهُ".

"تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّه بَعْدَ التَّشَهُدِ مِن أَربَعٍ: مِن عَذابَين، وَفِتْنَتَينِ: مِنْ عَذَاب جَهَنَّم، وَمِن عَذَابِ القَبْرِ. وَمِن فَتْنَةِ الدَّجالِ، وَفِتْنَةِ المَحْيَا والمَمَاتِ".

"كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ المَحْيَا وَالمَمَاتِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ المَسِيخِ الدَّجَّالِ".
