The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not unveil your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of the living and the dead.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ وَلاَ تَنْظُرَنَّ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَىٍّ وَلاَ مَيِّتٍ  

The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not uncover you thigh, and do not look at the thigh of the living and the dead. Abu Dawud said: This tradition disagrees with the generally reported traditions (nakarah).  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَكْشِفْ فَخِذَكَ وَلاَ تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَىٍّ وَلاَ مَيِّتٍ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: “Do not let your thigh show, and do not look at the thigh of another person, living or dead.ʿ  

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ وَلا تَنْظُرِ الَى فَخِذِ حَيٍّ وَلا مَيِّتٍ  

“The Prophet ﷺ said to me: ‘Do not show your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of anyone, living or dead.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1460)   

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَيْكَ وَلَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَيٍّ وَلَا مَيِّتٍ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: “Do not let your thigh show, and do not look at the thigh of another person, living or dead.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 1249)   

قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ وَلَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَيٍّ وَلَا مَيِّتٍ  

"لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَك، وَلَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذَكَ حَيٍّ وَلَا ميت".  

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: قَالَ لِى النَّبِىُّ ﷺ : لَا تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ وَلَا تَنْظُرْ إلَى فَخذِ حَىٍّ وَمَيِّتٍ".  

"لاَ تَكْشِف فَخِذَكَ، وَلاَ تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذَىْ حَىٍّ وَلاَ ميِّتٍ".  

"لَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَىٍّ وَلَا مَيِّتٍ، فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ".
